Lead problem solving and corrective action: Establish rigorous, data-driven problem-solving practices using methods such as 8D, A3, root-cause analysis, CAPA, 5 Why, statistical analysis, and other appropriate quality methodologies. Manage quality risk and prevention: Deploy proactive quality tools including PFMEA, control plans, process capability, error-proofing, Measurement System Analysis, layered process audits, and other risk-based methods to prevent defects and identify potential failures before they reach the customer. Lead and develop the Quality organization: Build, lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of Quality Engineers, Quality professionals, inspectors, and other quality resources while developing quality capability across the broader workforce. Drive cross-functional and enterprise improvement: Partner cross functionally to eliminate systemic quality issues, leverage lessons learned and Read Across, and continuously improve processes and performance. Ensure quality governance and benefits realization: Establish effective quality reviews, performance reporting, audit readiness, improvement priorities, and accountability mechanisms while ensuring quality improvements translate into measurable customer, operational, and financial results.
