Job summary

Woodward Inc. is seeking a Repair & Overhaul Technician I/II at our Loves Park, IL facility. The role involves teardown, assembly, and testing of servo valves, actuators, and related components on a 2nd shift schedule (Mon-Fri, 2:30pm–11:00pm).

First-week training runs 7am–3:30pm, with flexibility for up to 3 months to adjust training. Strong mechanical aptitude and teamwork are essential. Candidates should be prepared to work in a fast-paced environment with a safety-first mindset, quality

This role will provide support and operations in products such as servo valves, actuators, fuel metering units, specialty valves or pumps. Interested candidates must be flexible for upwards of 3 months to be able to train on an alternative training schedule.Repair & Overhaul Technician IKey Responsibilities:· Teardown, Assembly and Test Product: Follows documented procedures to accurately and efficiently teardown, assemble and test product using specified tools and equipment.· Process: Coordinates with appropriate members and cross-functional teams to perform analysis, investigation, work scope of product.· Quality: Conducts inspections and tests to verify the accuracy and functionality of products and records and maintains data per operating standards.· Organization & Cleanliness: Adheres to 5S principles by keeping workstations clean, organized, and free of unnecessary items. Follows established guidelines to ensure tools, materials, and equipment are properly stored and maintained.· Safety Mindset: Adheres to all established safety protocols, procedures, and regulatory requirements; maintains mindfulness of self and surrounding work area to promote a safe working environment.Key Skills:· Technical Capability: Understands and follows basic technical instructions and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
