Job summary

Hitachi Energy Korea is seeking an experienced Repair & Maintenance Engineering professional to oversee maintenance plans for machines and production lines, collaborating with Engineering to define plans for new facilities. You will support availability and root cause analysis, address major issues, and maintain records to drive improvements.

With a background in electrical or mechanical engineering and at least 2 years in maintenance, you will ensure safe operations, comply with HSE standards,

Qualifications

  • Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of hands-on maintenance experience in manufacturing or industrial settings.
  • Solid knowledge of maintenance procedures, troubleshooting, and equipment operation.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently under pressure.
  • Understanding of HSE standards and commitment to safety.
  • Ability to collaborate across teams and share information clearly.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee maintenance plans for machines, equipment, production lines, and facilities to minimize downtime.
  • Collaborate with Engineering to define maintenance plans for new production lines or facilities.
  • Support continuous availability and optimal functioning of production equipment by executing maintenance plans and assisting with root cause analysis.
  • Address and resolve major technical, equipment, and facilities issues quickly to minimize production disruptions.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records, generate reports, and analyze data to inform decision-making and identify areas of improvement.
  • Support continuous improvement by identifying and implementing process enhancements to boost maintenance efficiency, equipment reliability, and operational performance.
  • Comply with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards by following procedures, assisting with audits, and maintaining a safe and compliant work environment.
  • Support in managing tools, equipment, and spare parts to support maintenance tasks effectively. Maintain a clean and organized work area and help monitor spare parts inventory.
  • Be responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

How you’ll make an impact
  • You will oversee the execution of maintenance plans for machines, equipment, production lines, and facilities to minimize downtime and ensure operational efficiency.
  • You will collaborate with the Engineering team to define maintenance plans for new production lines or facilities.
  • You will support the continuous availability and optimal functioning of production equipment by executing maintenance plans and assisting with root cause analysis. Collaborate with the Engineering team to recommend improvements that enhance the reliability, maintainability, and safety of equipment and facilities.

Your background
