Carousel is looking for an organized, detail-oriented, and team-focused Repair Coordinator to help manage jewelry repairs from intake through completion.
The Repair Coordinator plays an important role in keeping repairs organized, accurately documented, and moving through each stage of the process. This person will work closely with our internal repair team while communicating with brand partners and customers to provide updates, gather information, and help ensure a smooth service experience.
The ideal candidate enjoys keeping things organized, communicates clearly, and is comfortable working with spreadsheets, inventory systems, and detailed product information. Experience in jewelry is helpful, but a strong background in inventory management, operations, customer service, or a similar coordination role is equally valuable.
What You’ll Do
- Receive and process incoming repair items, ensuring each item is accurately documented and entered into the appropriate system
- Track repairs throughout the service process and help ensure items continue moving through each stage in a timely manner
- Maintain accurate repair records, item details, customer information, service notes, and status updates
- Communicate with brand partners and customers regarding repair status, estimates, approvals, questions, and other service updates
- Coordinate with our internal repair team to gather information and help prioritize and organize work
- Monitor open repairs and proactively follow up on items requiring additional information, approval, or action
- Help manage the physical organization and movement of jewelry throughout the repair process
- Maintain accurate inventory and repair information across spreadsheets and internal systems
- Assist with shipping, receiving, and other repair-related operational tasks as needed
- Identify discrepancies or missing information and work with the team to resolve them
- Help create a thoughtful, responsive experience that reflects the level of service expected by our brand partners and their customers
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in inventory management, operations, customer service, order management, or a similar coordination role
- Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail
- Comfortable working with spreadsheets and inventory or order management systems
- Ability to manage multiple repairs, requests, and priorities at the same time
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable communicating professionally with both business partners and customers
- Ability to follow detailed processes while recognizing when something needs additional attention
- Dependable, proactive, and comfortable taking ownership of follow-up
- A collaborative attitude and willingness to jump in where needed
- Comfortable working with high-value merchandise and maintaining accuracy and accountability
Nice to Have
- Experience working with jewelry, luxury goods, watches, accessories, or other high-value products
- Experience with repair, service, returns, warranty, or aftercare operations
- Familiarity with inventory management, ERP, CRM, or order management software
- Experience working directly with wholesale accounts, brands, retailers, or customers
