Job summary

Atlas Copco IAS LLC in Arlington, TX seeks a skilled technician to diagnose and repair equipment, inspect incoming products, and generate detailed repair quotes. You will perform approved repairs, verify operation, and conduct QC checks to ensure quality.

The role may involve training other Atlas Copco personnel and collaborating with a dynamic team on-site. Preference is given to candidates with at least 2 years of troubleshooting experience, strong blueprint reading, and proficiency in MS

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience troubleshooting equipment issues.
• Strong blueprint and technical reading skills required.
• PC and MS Office proficiency.
• Certificate in tool repair or machine maintenance is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair equipment issues using diagnostic tools and manuals.

Your day-to-day

• Diagnose and repair equipment issues, often using diagnostic tools, technical manuals and schematic diagrams.
• Inspect incoming products and evaluate for repairs.
• Generate detailed repair quote for customer and update in the database.
• Perform approved repairs and verify correct operation.
• Perform QC verification of completed repairs.
• Inspect warranty claims from customers.
• May train other Atlas Copco personnel in the repair of equipment.
• Other duties as required.

Your skills and experience

• High school diploma or equivalent

• May hold a certificate in a relevant field, such as tool repair or machine maintenance.
• Minimum 2 years of experience with troubleshooting/ resolving equipment issues.
• Strong blueprint and technical reading skills required.
• PC and MS Office proficient
