Job summary

Motion Industries in Spokane Valley, WA is seeking an experienced Service Technician II to maintain, repair, and build hydraulic, fluid power, electrical, and mechanical systems. Under general supervision, you will service customer products in the shop and assist teammates as needed.

You will read hydraulic schematics, diagnose components, fabricate or machine parts, and test equipment before shipment or storage.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of shop experience or equivalent.

Responsibilities

SUMMARY:Under general supervision, the Repair and Service- Service Technician II repairs, services, and builds standard and custom systems for hydraulic, fluid power, electrical, and mechanical systems. The Service Technician II may provide guidance to less experienced Service Technicians.JOB DUTIESPerforms maintenance on assigned customer products that come through the service shop.Disassembles, cleans, and inspects system components for repair.Diagnoses system components and recommends a solution to the customer.Prepares job form listing parts and works necessary to perform the repair.Designs, fabricates, machines, and welds parts and components.Repairs hydraulic, fluid power, electrical, and mechanical systems. and other related items.Assembles new and repaired equipment.Tests repaired equipment for performance and prepares for shipment or long-term storage.Assist customers by answering specific technical questions to help the customer understand the work to be done.Responds to customer inquires regarding products, provides quotes, and handles order entry.
