Job summary

US Foods, Inc. is seeking a Repacker in Boca Raton to evaluate damaged products, repack for sale or salvage, and record lot and date information. The role requires basic math, reliability, and the ability to work with Excel tools in a fast-paced warehouse.

Schedule runs Sunday through Thursday, 7:00pm–4:00am, with overtime potential. Benefits begin Day One; candidates should be able to handle multi-temperature environments and lift up to 80 lbs.

Qualifications

• Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
• Ability to work independently.
• Safely operate electric pallet jack.
• Good communication skills — written and oral.
• Working knowledge of Excel.
• Willing and able to work weekends and holidays on a rotational basis.
• Must be dependable.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate damaged product for disposition (repack for sale, salvage, dump).
• Repack damaged product determined to be saleable.
• Record proper information on repackaged product (lot #, date, etc.) whether for sale or salvage.
• Properly record all dumped product.
• Assist with tracking of dated products to minimize product lost due to date issues.
• Keep work area clean and organized.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education/Training:

Related Experience/Requirements:

Warehouse experience/foodservice product & processes knowledge preferred.

Compensation depends on relevant experience and/or education, specific skills, function, geographic location, and other factors as applicable by law (for example: state minimum wage thresholds). The expected base rate for this role is between $22.42 and $26.54
