Job summary

GFS Chemicals is seeking a Repack Associate to join our RAC Division at the Powell, OH location. You will assist in packaging, shipment and order fulfilment for the Optical Standards laboratory, bottle various standard solutions, perform quality spot checks, and maintain packaging and shipping documentation.

You will ensure accuracy of order fulfilment and inventory, assist in preparing vials and bottles to maintain finished product quality, and participate in ISO 9001, 17025, 17034 quality

Qualifications

• Safety conscious required.
• Good documentation practices.
• Ability to read weights and measures.
• Proficient reading and writing skills, including reading small print.
• Ability to follow hazard handling and waste disposal protocols.
• Ability to work well in teams and alone.

Responsibilities

• Fill finished goods from bulk solutions.
• Ensure accurate fill volume, quantity, batch, label, and shipping information for orders.
• Adhere to ISO 9001, ISO 17025, and ISO 17034; follow QA procedures.
• Review documentation and labels for accuracy.
• Document current inventory and communicate needs to supervisor or procurement.
• Process fulfilment of orders and shipments; coordinate with departments to fulfill orders.
