Job summary

GFS Chemicals is seeking a Repack Associate to join our RAC Division at the Powell, Ohio location. The Repack Associate will assist in packaging, shipment, and order fulfilment for the Optical Standards laboratory, bottle standard solutions, perform quality spot checks, and maintain packaging and shipping documentation.

Responsibilities include ensuring accurate fill volumes, updating inventory, and coordinating with other departments to fulfill orders while adhering to ISO 9001, 17025, and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to read weights and measures.
• Strong documentation practices and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Fill finished good products from bulk solutions
• Ensure accurate fill volume, quantity, batch, label, and shipping information for orders
• Review documentation and labels for accuracy
• Accurately document current inventory, consumption, and update supervisor and/or purchasing team of inventory needs
• Process fulfilment of orders and shipments
• Engage with other departments to fulfill orders involving multiple product lines
• Communicate order status, inventory quantities, and projected timelines to relevant staff
• Adhere to all Procedures, Policies, and Guidelines and packaging checklists
• Maintain packaging integrity through shipping and ensure batches are within QC approval window
• Input data into electronic systems as needed
• Assist in preparation of vials and bottles as required by solutions/customers
• Support GFS safety program and drive continuous improvements
