Job Summary:

At Richelieu Foods, we make Great Food from Great People. We are looking for a 1st Shift Material Handler.

Essential Functions
  1. Transport all needed supplies correctly and on time to required line or pre-batch area.
  2. Communicate with internal customers to determine proper quantities and placement of items needed.
  3. Maintain proper sanitation and housekeeping in area, complying with Good Manufacturing Practices.
  4. Properly put away warehouse loads.
  5. Coordinate with other Material Handlers for efficient department operation.
  6. Inform supervisors of issues or concerns.
  7. Perform other duties as assigned.
  8. Create and receive TOPs / POPs if needed.
  9. Schedule appointments, answer emails and phone calls.
Basic Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 2 years of safe forklift operation on a stand-up forklift.
  • Ability to read and understand line schedules and material needs.
  • Positive attendance record.
  • Safe operation of stand-up and sit-down forklifts.
  • Basic computer skills.
Desired Qualifications
  • Previous warehouse experience.
  • Experience in shipping and receiving.
