Responsibilities
- Ensure all specimens are collected accurately and on time, following established procedures.
- Conduct in‑center and mobile exams (vitals, medical histories, venipuncture, urine collection, EKG, drug screenings).
- Complete application packets and paperwork accurately.
- Label, centrifuge, split, upload and send specimens per schedule (within 24 hours on weekdays, 48 hours on weekends).
- Package specimens for transport and ship to indicated lab.
- Transport specimens, supplies, equipment and materials safely and on time, maintaining records and supporting record deletion processes.
- Provide customer service and travel logs, and submit accurate time, expense and travel documents as directed.
- Follow Examiner's Manual and departmental policies; maintain phlebotomy logs; keep error rate <3%.
- Confirm exams with clients before appointment; correct non‑applicant errors within 24 hours.
- Maintain professional appearance and safety standards; wear badge at all times.
- Participate in team projects, inventory counts, and SOP implementation.
- Mentor new employees, act as coach, instructor and resource person.
- Handle additional clerical duties, dispatch calls, and support work group communications.
- Travel up to 25 miles and work flexible hours, weekends, holidays, overtime or on‑call duty as required.
- Use company iPad or other electronic device as required.
- Perform all additional duties within scope of position.
Required Work Experience
- Minimum 100 documented successful blood draws.
- Minimum one year phlebotomy experience; pediatric/geriatric experience a plus.
Preferred Work Experience
Urine or hair follicle collection and EKG experience.
Physical and Mental Requirements
- Sitting, standing, driving to assignments, lifting up to 40 pounds.
- Ability to multitask, flexible availability, weekends, holidays, overtime, on‑call duties.
- Valid driver license with clean record and access to reliable transportation.

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong organization and judgment; able to manage patient and employee concerns professionally.
- Basic computer skills in Microsoft Office; ability to learn new software.
- Decision‑making based on established procedures; seek supervisor guidance when appropriate.

Education
High School Diploma or Equivalent.
Licenses & Certifications
Phlebotomy or Medical Assistant certification.
