Rep, Mobile Examiner - (P/T) - ExamOne/Harrisburg, PA area

Under the direction of the Branch Manager or Field Leader, the Mobile Examiner's primary responsibility is to provide coverage in the field ensuring that mobile exams are completed accurately and on time. Maintain a safe and professional environment for applicants, clients, and employees, perform all aspects of an insurance exam, including specimen collection and processing duties, following established practices and procedures. May also act as coach, mentor, instructor, and resource person for new employees who have completed the required phlebotomy training program.

Responsibilities include:
  1. Ensuring all specimens are collected accurately and on time, including:
  • Collecting specimens according to established procedures.
  • Conducting in-center and mobile exams, such as taking vitals, medical histories, venipuncture, urine collection, and EKG, as well as collecting specimens for drug screenings and other services.
  • Completing application packets and paperwork accurately.
  • Labeling, centrifuging, and splitting specimens as required.
  • Uploading and completing cases in the portal within specified timeframes.
  • Packaging specimens for transport and shipping to the lab.
  • Transporting specimens, supplies, and equipment safely and timely.
  • Maintaining records of specimen collection and supporting documentation.
  • Following departmental manuals and maintaining logs with an error rate of no more than 3%.
  • Providing excellent customer service and adhering to dress code and grooming standards.
  • Ensuring work areas are neat, assisting with inventory, and supporting team initiatives.
  • Performing additional duties as assigned, including clerical tasks and participating in team projects.
  • Qualifications:
    • Minimum 100 successful blood draws and one year of phlebotomy experience, with pediatric and geriatric experience a plus.
    • Preferred experience with urine or hair follicle collection and EKG.
    • Physical ability to sit, stand, lift up to 40 pounds, and drive.
    • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

    Education and Certifications:
    • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
