Job Summary

Join our team at Renu Energy Solutions, a regional leader in renewable energy, and take part in installing solar PV and energy storage systems. As a key member of our Electrical Team, you'll assist the Team Lead in completing installations from start to finish, ensuring quality, efficiency, and code compliance. Your responsibilities will include installing system components, following electrical diagrams, maintaining tools and equipment, and assisting with inventory management. We're seeking individuals with a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a desire to build a career in the renewable energy industry. New employees will receive classroom and field training in the first 30 days, and all tools and safety gear are provided.

This position is full-time, based in the Raleigh area, with some local travel expected.

Responsibilities

1. Assist Electrical Team Lead in installing solar PV and energy storage systems.
2. Install solar PV system components and complete assigned tasks from start to finish.
3. Assist other crew members as necessary.
4. Follow electrical diagrams and equipment specifications to install high-quality photovoltaic (PV) systems efficiently and correctly.
5. Ensure adherence to project designs, requirements, and best practices for quality and code compliance.
6. Maintain an organized work truck and proper tools/equipment.
7. Manage truck inventory and assist with stocking and procurement.
8. Upgrade existing electrical equipment and services on residential and commercial sites.
9. Assist with PV installations and rooftop work as needed.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of electrical experience.
• At least 1 year of solar electrical experience.
• Desire to succeed in the renewable energy industry and build a career with a regional leader.
• Ability to work flexible weekly schedules.
• Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Comfort working on rooftops, ladders, attics, crawlspaces, and in confined spaces safely.
• Basic knowledge of home construction, building materials, safety standards, fall protection, and OSHA regulations.
• Reliable work ethic and attention to detail.
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to a growing business environment.
• Clear criminal background check.
