A-1 Rental, a locally owned, general equipment and tool rental company, is looking for an experienced Yard Worker/General Labor (Construction equipment and tools) to provide customer service at the counter, load and unload equipment, and perform deliveries as needed.

A-1 Rental services homeowners and contractors with equipment for all types of projects ranging from lawn care to major construction jobs. Regardless of the size of the project, from a small remodel to a major building site, A-1 Rental provides dependable and reliable equipment. Locations in Idaho Falls and Rexburg.

As an Equipment Service Associate, the key duties include:

1. Prepare equipment for rental.
2. Maintain inventory and equipment.
3. Explain the proper use of the equipment to customers.
4. Safely load and unload the equipment.
5. Deliver equipment with one-ton truck and trailer or rollback (NON-CDL) as needed.

What the successful candidate will have:

1. Must be 21 years old and have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
2. Excellent communication skills to provide status updates to clients, superiors, and peers.
3. Hands-on training with equipment maintenance.
4. Proficient with inventory control.
5. Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
