Job summary

White Cap is hiring immediately for a Rental Yard Associate in Michigan. You will help keep rental equipment clean, safe, and ready for delivery as part of a diverse team serving construction professionals.

The role requires physical stamina, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and standing for long periods. Forklift experience and Spanish proficiency are preferred attributes in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of construction and industrial products helps in the role.

Responsibilities

• Remove dirt, concrete, or debris from rental equipment and area using provided hand tools and cleaning equipment.
• Ensure all rental equipment is in good, usable condition before it goes out to the customer.
• Inspect all rental equipment for damage and report according to established procedure.
• Oil and lubricate all tools, equipment and tilt-up braces per specifications.
• Prepare and stage rental orders to go out for delivery.
• Follow company safety policy and procedures.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

A Rental Yard Associate at White Cap...

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to work Monday - Friday from 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Knowledge of construction and industrial products.
• Spanish language proficiency.
