Job summary

White Cap Management LLC in Indianapolis, IN is hiring a Rental Yard Associate to clean and prep rental equipment, inspect for damage, and stage orders for delivery. You’ll work in a fast-paced yard, focusing on safety and efficiency while supporting a broad range of construction products.

No formal experience required beyond a basic familiarity with tools; applicants should be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods. Bilingual Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds in a physical environment.
• Ability to stand for 60 minutes or more.
• Willingness to work outdoors and in a warehouse setting.
• Knowledge of construction and industrial products is a plus.
• Be safety-conscious and follow procedures.

Responsibilities

• Removes dirt, concrete, or other debris from rental equipment and area using provided hand tools and cleaning equipment.
• Ensures all rental equipment is in good, usable condition before it goes out to the customer.
• Inspects all rental equipment for damage and reports any damage according to established procedures.
• Oils and lubricates all tools, equipment and tilt-up braces according to specifications.
• Prepares and stages rental orders to go out for delivery.
• Follows company safety policy and procedures.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds in a physical environment.
• Ability to stand for periods of time up to and exceeding 60 minutes.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Knowledge of Machines and Hand & Power tools
• Bilingual-Spanish is a plus
