Position: Sales Manager

Overview

Republic Truck Sales, a family-owned and operated business, is seeking an organized individual to manage our growing lease and rental fleet based in Sellersburg, Indiana. Our fleet comprises nearly 150 spotter trucks, all equipped with electronic trackers for tracking and maintenance. This role involves managing trucks, not drivers, and ensuring fleet efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

1. Make sales calls to existing and potential customers.
2. Coordinate with customers to get rent/lease agreements signed and filed.
3. Arrange towing services to and from customer sites.
4. Respond to breakdown calls and coordinate repairs with vendors.
5. Ensure all trucks are up-to-date on maintenance and repairs.
6. Collaborate with our internal shop to bill customers for damages.
7. Work with the shop to prepare trucks for rental or lease.
8. Ensure accurate billing for yard truck usage.
