Job summary

Linder Industrial Machinery Company seeks a detail-oriented Yard Coordinator to manage the movement of rental machines and attachments. You will document usage, verify manuals, and photograph units to record condition before rental

Responsibilities include unit check-in/out via tablet, ensuring units are clean, safe and ready for customers, and coordinating with the Service Department and Equipment Manager. This role requires a High School Diploma and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and process inbound and outbound movement of machines and attachments daily.
• Document machine hours and fuel level.
• Verify unit’s manual is present.
• Take pictures of each unit and note any damage.
• Notify Service Department and Equipment Manager of any damage identified.
• Advise Equipment Manager of unit arrival and provide check-in information.
• Ensure unit is clean, safe and rental ready.
• Park unit in the appropriate yard area.
• Verify equipment/serial number against shipper; take pictures of each unit.
• Confirm manual and attachments are present.
• Assist with loading for shipment.
• Use tablet for check-in/check-out processes.
• Store machines and attachments neatly and organized.
• Identify status of each unit and exercise units on the yard.
• Perform consignment inspections and ensure RFID tracking devices work.
• Provide information as requested; perform other tasks as requested by management.

Job Summary

Coordinate machine and attachment activity. Ensure rental fleet machines and attachments are capable of a safe and successful rental.

Responsibilities

Responsible for coordinating and processing both inbound and outbound movement of machines and attachments on a daily basis.

• Documentation of machine hours and fuel level
• Verification unit’s manual is present
• Take pictures of each unit – noting obvious damage
• Notify Service Department and Equipment Manager immediately of any damage

identified on a unit

• Advise Equipment Manager of unit arrival – provide check-in information
• Ensure unit is clean, safe and rental ready
• Park unit in appropriate area of the yard

• Verification of equipment/serial number against shipper
• Take pictures of each unit
• Confirm manual is present
• Confirm appropriate attachment(s) are included
• Assist/load for shipment

Utilize tablet for both check-in and check-out processes

Locate and store machines and attachments in a neat and organized manner

Responsible for identifying status of each unit

Exercise each unit on the yard periodically

Perform consignment inspections

Responsible to ensure yard and tracking devices are present and working on each unit (RFID)

Provide information when requested

Other tasks as requested by management

Education/Experience/Skills

Work Environment
