Job summary

CP Communications is seeking a hands-on Broadcast and Live Production Equipment Technician based at our Yorktown Heights, NY, and St. Petersburg, FL facilities to test, prepare, and deliver broadcast gear for live events.

You will handle video, audio, and communications equipment for events ranging from golf tournaments to NFL telecasts. The role involves packing orders, managing pick lists, and checking gear in and out using a scanner-based inventory system.

Qualifications

• 1–2 yrs of experience in an A/V or production environment.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50lbs above shoulder level without assistance.
• Ability to stand, stoop and kneel for prolonged periods.

Broadcast and Live Production Equipment Technician - Video/Audio/Comms Concentration

This is a hands-on tech position working with a nationally recognized leader in broadcast and media technology solutions. Based at our Yorktown Heights, NY and St Petersburg, FL facilities, this position is ideal for candidates looking to work with the equipment used in the live event broadcast industry. You will be part of a team responsible for preparing and delivering broadcast equipment for events ranging from golf tournaments to auto racing, NFL telecasts and hundreds of other live events.

Your Main Responsibilities Will Be

• Testing video, audio and communications equipment used for broadcast and live events
• Filling equipment orders by working from a pick list
• Packing orders of the tested equipment
• Checking equipment in and out of the facility using a scanner driven inventory control system

Basic Job Requirements
