Job summary
Sturtevant's is seeking a Rental Technician to gear up guests and deliver best-in-class guest service. You’ll fit boots, skis, snowboards, and poles, and guide guests to the right equipment for their mountain day.
You will also pass binding certification tests and share gear knowledge, helping guests enjoy the mountain lifestyle while delivering excellent service. The role supports flexible scheduling and a team-oriented environment.
Qualifications
- Outgoing, friendly and able to talk ski or board shop all day.
- Enjoy skiing or snowboarding or eager to learn.
- Flexible with schedule including holidays, weekends, or split shifts.
- Able to stand for hours and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Strong English fluency (written and verbal).
- Basic computer skills for processing transactions and documentation.
Responsibilities
- Welcome guests with energy and enthusiasm, creating a fun and friendly shop experience.

As a Rental Technician you’ll be the expert who gets guests geared up, comfortable, and confident before they hit the slopes. You’ll bring your passion for skiing or snowboarding, your love of helping people, and your knowledge of the sport to deliver the best-in-class guest service on which we pride ourselves.

- You’re outgoing, friendly, and can talk ski or board shop all day.
- You love to ski or snowboard (or are eager to learn).
- Flexible with your schedule — holidays, weekends, split shifts? No problem if it means more turns on the mountain.
- You’re good on your feet (literally — standing for hours is no big deal) and can lift up to 25 lbs.

$18-$20/hour + Commission. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience.
