Job summary

Christy Sports is seeking a Rental Supervisor to lead the Ski/Snowboard Rental Department in Aspen, CO. You will supervise staff, manage training and inventory, and drive profitability while delivering best-in-class guest service.

You’ll open/close the store as needed, hire and coach staff, ensure accurate pricing, and uphold policies. Enjoy a Free Ski Pass, discounts, and growth opportunities within a dynamic outdoor team.

Qualifications

• Strong English fluency in written and spoken form.
• Basic computer skills for processing transactions and documentation.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

Summary Description: Reporting to the Store Manager, this position is responsible for the management of the Ski / Snowboard Rental Department including staff supervision, training and inventory control to achieve the maximum profitability while providing the best-in-class guest service.

What You'll Be Doing

• Maintain the high-standard for guest service through personal behavior and leadership
• Demonstrate excellent knowledge of products and industry trends
• Ensure staff members are trained and knowledgeable with proper binding DIN setting practices
• Ensure staff members are trained and knowledgeable with regard to proper boot fitting
• Ensure pricing is accurate and current, including any promotions
• Maintain store cleanliness standards
• Assist the store manager in monitoring and controlling the payroll budget
• Assist store manager in hiring, training, coaching, leading and maintaining a high-quality staff
• Assist store manager in administering company policies and procedures
• Protect company assets through loss prevention techniques
• Prepare, distribute and maintain company-required documentation
• Open and close store as required in absence of manager
• Other duties as may be assigned

• You're good on your feet (literally - standing for hours is no big deal) and can lift up to 25 lbs.

Budgeted range starts at: $23-$27/hour + Commission. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience.
