Job summary

SIXT is hiring at our airport location to deliver exceptional customer service while driving sales. You’ll greet customers, assess needs, and guide them through the rental process with friendly expertise.

You’ll upsell upgrades and services to maximize each interaction, aiming to meet or exceed sales goals and contribute to a seamless travel experience. You’ll join a team that values flexibility, development opportunities, and a clear path to earnings through uncapped bonuses.

Qualifications

• Proven sales and upselling experience in consumer-facing roles.
• Excellent verbal communication and relationship-building skills.
• Willing to work nights, weekends and holidays as needed.
• Authorized to work in the US with a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and guide them through the rental process with a friendly, consultative approach.
• Identify customer needs and upsell vehicle upgrades, protection packages, fuel options, and services to maximize interaction value.
• Prepare rental agreements accurately and efficiently, ensuring all terms are clear.
• Meet and exceed sales targets through upselling and cross-selling initiatives.
• Handle customer inquiries promptly and professionally, maintaining organization and a service-oriented attitude.

YOUR ROLE AT SIXT

• You are the first point of contact for our customers – friendly, professional and passionate about sales and service.
• You pleasantly greet and guide all customers through the car rental process, building rapport and identifying needs from the first moment.
• You prepare rental agreements and confidently upsell vehicle upgrades, protection packages, fuel options, and additional services to maximize every interaction.
• You meet and exceed sales goals through successful upselling and cross‑selling, motivated by performance‑based earnings.
• You handle customer inquiries with urgency and professionalism, always organized, service‑oriented and with a smile.

YOUR SKILLS MATTER

• You are a proven sales talent with upselling and closing experience, motivated by targets and direct customer contact.
• You bring valuable experience from sectors such as retail sales, hospitality sales, banking, B2B, or car rental, with a service‑oriented mindset and a track record of building customer relationships.
• You possess excellent verbal communication skills and enjoy direct customer interaction.
• You are comfortable working in a commission‑driven environment and thrive under pressure.
• You are willing to work various shifts, including nights, weekends and public holidays, with a flexible approach to working hours.
• You have a valid US driver’s license with a clean driving record and are authorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorship.
