Position Summary:

A Penske Part-Time Rental Representative is ideal for a driven individual eager to thrive in an entrepreneurial environment. The role involves active participation with sales, administrative, service, and operations teams. This entry-level position offers an excellent opportunity to start a career with the nation's leading transportation company. The position is part-time, typically requiring 15-25 hours per week.

Major Responsibilities:

1. Handle inbound and outbound sales processes
2. Generate new business leads and maintain existing customer relationships
3. Manage and oversee a large fleet of vehicles
4. Match vehicle demand with availability
5. Coordinate all aspects of customer accounts
6. Ensure complete customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment
7. Perform other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor

Qualifications:

• At least 6 months of retail sales and/or customer service experience preferred
• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred
• Ability to make independent decisions, work well in a team, possess customer service and organizational skills, and maintain a positive attitude
• Proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
• Valid Driver's License and willingness to drive Penske vehicles up to 26' box truck
• Regular attendance is essential
• Compliance with DOT regulations, including maintaining driver qualification files, MVR checks, DOT Physical, Safety Performance History, and drug screening as applicable
• Willingness to work the required schedule, travel if necessary, and pass background and drug screenings
• Ability to work safely and responsibly in a safety-sensitive environment

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to read, communicate verbally and in writing, and understand instructions
• Ability to stand, walk, sit, and use hands frequently
• Ability to lift/move up to 25 lbs (12 kg)
• Specific vision abilities include close, distance, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment
