About This Opportunity

Are you a driven, ambitious professional ready to fast-track into a management role? The Ryder Rental Management Trainee program is an 18–24 month accelerated career development experience designed to build the next generation of Ryder leaders.

This program is fast-paced and touches every aspect of the business unit. You’ll receive hands‑on training across Finance, Operations, Human Resources, and Sales & Marketing — gaining the full toolkit you need to step into a leadership role with confidence.

What You’ll Experience

Over 18–24 months, you’ll build expertise across every core area of the business:

• Finance – Understand the P&L drivers behind a high‑performing rental operation
• Operations – Manage rental assets, vehicle PM standards, and day‑to‑day location performance
• Sales & Marketing – Drive revenue through inbound sales, outbound solicitation, and lead generation for rental, lease, and used vehicle sales
• Human Resources – Learn how to build, develop, and lead a team
• Customer Relationship Management – Resolve customer concerns and grow a loyal customer base
• Compliance & Regulatory – Ensure alignment with company, local, state, and federal requirements

Essential Functions

• Handling the sales and process for inbound calls as well as outbound solicitation
• Maintain current and accurate data within the company’s marketing database
• Responsible for generating rental, lease and used vehicle sales leads
• Manage all rental asset processes to include Vehicle Pm and cleanliness standards
• Meet overall Ryder market share by successfully executing the sales and marketing initiatives
• Maintain compliance with company, local, state, federal and other regulatory agencies
• Reconcile all customer concerns, issues and disputes in order to maintain the ongoing relationships and grow the current customer base

Additional Responsibilities

• On a voluntary basis as well as based on scheduling, the Rental Management Trainee will be required to perform the role of On‑Call Representative based on work schedules as determined by Supervisor.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• One (1) year or more customer service with issues resolution experience preferred

Compensation Information :

The compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s relevant experience; education, including relevant degrees or certifications; work location; market data/ranges; internal equity; internal salary ranges; etc. The position may also be eligible to receive an annual bonus, commission, and/or long-term incentive plan based on the level and/or type. Compensation ranges for the position are below:
