Job summary

Brandeis Machinery and Supply Co. is seeking a Rental Foreman at our Indianapolis, IN location. The role oversees all rental assets, inspects and services the rental fleet, and ensures high-quality maintenance across the fleet.

Responsibilities include daily work planning for rental technicians, prioritizing repairs, maintaining accurate machine status, and coordinating inspections and paperwork. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma or equivalent, some college coursework preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in heavy equipment shop/field or rental experience preferred.
• Very strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficient computer skills including Word, Excel, Outlook, and other web-based applications.

Responsibilities

• Daily creation of work for rental technicians and organizing job preparation information.
• Prioritize and ensure quick, efficient turnaround of tasks.
• Manage and maintain an accurate machine status and rental fleet inventory.
• Schedule and supervise all equipment repairs in the rental department to maximize efficiency.
• Communicate daily progress and issues with management.
• Ensure safety is a focus within the rental department.
