Job Overview

The Rental Field Service (Lube) Technician is responsible for safely performing basic preventative maintenance on customer earthmoving equipment. This role involves working as part of a professional team, with opportunities for growth and development within Wagner Equipment Co.

Essential Functions

• Complete service, warranty, and inspection reports
• Communicate PM problems to supervisors
• Operate heavy equipment safely
• Recognize safety issues and notify personnel
• Obtain oil samples, drain and replace oil, and replace filters
• Order and return parts following procedures
• Remove and install components to adjust engine valves
• Train and guide other technicians
• Operate a lube truck and follow maintenance manuals
• Complete machine inspection reports and other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1-3 years experience servicing machines
• 1-3 years administrative/clerical experience
• Customer service experience
• Commercial Driver's License
• Pass pre-employment screenings

Physical & Work Environment

• Standing, walking, lifting objects up to 60 pounds
• Work in loud environments, indoors and outdoors
• Travel 50%-75%
