Job summary

Lonestar Electric Supply is seeking a skilled Rental and Repair Technician to maintain, repair, transport, and deliver rental equipment and tools. The role emphasizes safe, on-time service and strong customer support within a busy rental department.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver's license, and 1–2 years of related repair experience. A trade school program is a plus. This is a full-time on-site position with safety-focused responsibilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of experience repairing and maintaining vehicles, equipment, or similar machinery.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Basic understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to read schematics, diagrams, and technical manuals.
• Strong customer service and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on rental equipment and tools.
• Diagnose equipment issues and complete repairs safely and efficiently.
• Transport rental equipment and materials to and from customer sites and company locations.
• Load, secure, unload, and inspect equipment during deliveries and pickups.
• Provide professional customer service during deliveries, pickups, and service calls.
