Job summary

Warren CAT in Oklahoma City is seeking a Rental Technician I to deliver high-quality repair service on Caterpillar equipment, responding to customer needs with safety and care.

You will complete assigned jobs per Caterpillar ERLG, perform inspections, remove/install parts, run diagnostics with laptops, manage paperwork accurately, and follow contamination control and HAZMAT rules. Travel up to 10% and forklift or man lift certification required.

Qualifications

• CAT product line knowledge across gas engines and electrical/electronic/mechanical systems.
• Basic knowledge of gas/diesel engines and EPG systems.
• Proficient use of hand tools, diagnostic software, laptops and lifting equipment.
• Ability to provide accurate quotes.
• High school diploma or GED.
• 1–3 years related experience.
• Forklift and/or man lift certification prior to operation.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned jobs and tasks within Caterpillar ERLG without sacrificing quality and/or safety.
• Work safely and follow WCAT safety policies and procedures.
• Complete related paperwork and access required databases accurately and timely.
• Follow contamination control and HAZMAT rules and regulations.
• Remove and install parts, disassemble and assemble components, inspect assemblies.
• Understand and apply Cat reusability guidelines.
• Submit parts and core returns with documentation.
• Perform warranty downloads of ECM.
