Job summary

Peterson Power Systems in Eugene, Oregon seeks a Rental Commercial Engine Shop Technician to service and repair rental fleet engines, generators, and related equipment in our shop. The role emphasizes safety, accuracy in work orders, and high-quality customer service for internal and external clients.

The ideal candidate has an Associate degree in Diesel Technology or a related field and at least two years of hands-on experience in commercial engine service. A valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

Associates Degree in Diesel Technology or related field.
Minimum of 2 years of directly related experience in commercial engine service.

Responsibilities

Maintains safe shop environment and follows safety procedures and guidelines.
Performs inspections, maintenance, and repairs on rental equipment to ensure availability.
Conducts safety inspections and ensures compliance with standards (ANSI/OSHA).
Keeps work orders accurate and communicates daily shop status to the team.
