Job summary

Atlanta Fork Lifts, Inc. is seeking a Rental Delivery Driver to join the Atlanta branch. You will prepare and load trucks for pickup, deliver forklifts to customer locations, and ensure the vehicle remains clean and well-maintained.

A Class A CDL and a clean driving record are required. Responsibilities include planning daily routes with the rental coordinator, safely loading and securing forklifts, navigating the local area, and providing excellent customer service during deliveries.

Qualifications

• 3 years’ experience required.
• High School Diploma / GED
• Required License: Class A Commercial Driver’s License
• Able to lift up to 100 lbs (and more)
• Excellent driving record and safe operation of a motor vehicle

Responsibilities

Job Description

The Rental Delivery Driver will report to the Atlanta branch daily to prepare and load trucks for pickup and deliver at customer locations.

Responsibilities

• Ability to safely operate a motor vehicle with an excellent driving record.
• Ability to safely lift, load and secure forklifts and other material handling equipment as needed.
• Knowledge of geographical area and ability to navigate.
• Strong customer relation skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
• Highly motivated and energetic.
• Responsible for general care and cleanliness of company vehicle.
• Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs. (and occasionally in excess of 100 lbs.)

Work Experience Requirements

3 years’ experience required.

Education/Certification/License Requirements

High School Diploma / GED

Required License: Class A Commercial Driver’s License

Work Conditions / Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the majority of the work day is spent driving. This position is required to drive and safely operate the vehicle to make deliveries from their home branch to customer locations. Must be in good physical condition to bend, stretch and secure loads. This includes loading and unloading forklifts. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 100 pounds and occasionally in excess of 100 pounds. Must be able to legally and properly operate a motor vehicle with a “Class A” license.
