Job summary

Kendall Auto Group is seeking a Car Detailer to join our Anchorage Budget Rental team. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, eager to learn, and can manage time effectively.

Availability required for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday shifts from 6am-4pm or 4pm-2pm. Responsibilities include washing, vacuuming, and cleaning vehicles to ensure they are ready to rent; you will also handle glass cleaning, tire care, and occasional vehicle movement.

Qualifications

• At least one year of detailing experience in a dealership setting, large shop, or detail shop is required to apply.
• Candidate must be able to operate a wide variety of vehicles including cars, trucks, vans and hybrids, and have a valid driver license.

Responsibilities

• Wash and vacuum vehicles to ensure they are clean and presentable.
• Clean vehicle glass and tires; apply chemicals to tires, vinyl, and other surfaces as needed.
• Move and drive vehicles as required; fuel vehicles at off-site locations.
• Inspect vehicles to ensure road readiness; occasional jumpstarting or vehicle charging.
• Perform janitorial tasks in and around the detail shop; deliver and pick up vehicles at airport and Kendall locations.

We are looking for a Car Detailer to join our Anchorage Budget Rental team. We are looking for candidates who are self-motivated, willing to learn, and have good time management. We required Friday, Saturday, and Sunday availability from 6am-4pm or 4pm-2pm.

Your main priority is to help manage the excess demand by making sure our rental vehicles are clean and ready to rent in a timely manner and presentable fashion.

Job duties include washing and vacuuming vehicles, cleaning vehicle glass, chemically treating tires, vinyl and other surfaces as needed. Driving and moving vehicles as needed, fueling vehicles at an off-site location. Inspection of vehicle to ensure road ready. Occasionally jumpstarting or charging vehicle and janitorial tasks inside and outside the detail shop. Delivering and Picking up vehicles at the Airport and Kendall locations.

Work is primarily performed indoors in a shop environment, exposure to noise, vibration, dust, paint, cleaning solutions, use of general hand tools, bending, twisting, and crouching will be required frequently to perform job duties, climbing and reaching will be required often to clean all parts of vehicles and pushing or pulling up to 20 pounds of force occasionally performed.

Requirements
