Newrez LLC is seeking a Reno Project Analyst I to manage renovation and escrow holdback projects from intake to completion. You will ensure documents meet investor guidelines (FNMA/FHLMC/FHA/VA), review bids and appraisals, and coordinate across homeowner, contractor, and internal teams to keep the file moving.

The Reno Project Analyst I works closely with the homeowner, contractor, and internal stakeholders from start to finish ensuring the renovation and escrow holdback project file has all required documents with focus on FHA 203(k), FNMA Homestyle, VA, and FHLMC Choice Renovation. They determine project eligibility and provides outstanding customer service to homeowners and contractors. The Reno Project Analyst I reviews and approves disbursement requests based on the Company’s agency/investor guidelines and is expected to manage multiple files and maintain an active pipeline.
High school diploma or equivalent, required. Bachelor’s degree (Business/Finance/Accounting), preferred. 2 years' mortgage loan life-cycle experience; &/or 1 year Conventional/Government renovation project review experience.
Excellent interpersonal, oral & written communication skills including Microsoft Office & SharePoint. Demonstrated ability to multi-task, prioritize & time manage efficiently & effectively; strong analytical skills with the ability to exercise independent judgment. Ability to work autonomously under minimal supervision. Excellent customer service orientation. Strong attention to detail and organization skills. Ability to adapt to change and grasp new concepts with minimal guidance.
FHA 203(k) &/or HomeStyle Renovation processing experience highly preferred.
