Accident Fund Insurance Company of America is seeking a Renewal Specialist to support underwriting operations, assist agents with inquiries, and manage the renewal book for profitability and compliance. You will review audits, endorsements, and policy changes while coordinating with state bureaus and internal departments.

The role requires strong communication, analytical skills, and experience with insurance underwriting processes across multistate lines of business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in insurance or related field required, progress toward or completion of IIA or similar designation preferred.
• Two years of experience in customer service or underwriting support related to insurance operations; strong knowledge of underwriting guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Assist BDCs and agents with underwriting inquiries, rules and regulations.
• Calculate renewal eligibility and insurability for policyholders.
• Develop pricing based on loss history, audit results, and hazard exposure.
• Approve or decline renewals per guidelines and authority level.
• Review and respond to state bureaus, audits, and policy changes.
• Provide endorsements quotes and insurance policy information to agents and policyholders.
