For one of our clients, we are looking for a Renewals Manager, East, remotely from the United States.

As a Renewals Manager, you will be responsible for managing the full renewal process for a portfolio of key customer accounts. Working closely with Customer Success Managers, Account Executives, and other teams, you will ensure timely renewals, minimize churn, and identify opportunities for expansion. Your role will involve leading renewal negotiations, tracking key metrics, and addressing customer risks. This is an ideal opportunity for a self-starter who understands SaaS renewals, customer retention strategies, and is skilled at building trusted relationships with clients.

Accountabilities:
  1. Manage the renewal process for a portfolio of accounts, ensuring timely renewals and minimizing churn.
  2. Collaborate with Customer Success Managers to assess customer health and identify potential risks or opportunities prior to renewal dates.
  3. Lead renewal negotiations, including pricing adjustments and contract terms, and explore opportunities for expansion.
  4. Work with cross-functional teams such as Legal, Finance, and Sales Operations to ensure smooth contract processing.
  5. Proactively identify at-risk accounts and create actionable plans to mitigate churn.
  6. Track renewal metrics, including retention rates, renewal cycle times, and upsell/cross-sell performance, providing insights to leadership.
Qualifications:
  1. 2-4 years of experience in a SaaS Renewals Manager role or equivalent, with a proven track record of exceeding renewal targets.
  2. Strong understanding of customer success and retention strategies, with the ability to manage complex customer relationships.
  3. Expertise in negotiation and contract management, aiming for win-win outcomes.
  4. Data-driven mindset, with proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and analytics platforms.
  5. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate value propositions and renewal strategies.
  6. Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities, with a proactive approach to addressing challenges.
