Job description

At Emerge, we help leading tech companies support and grow their customer relationships through renewals. As a Renewals Manager, you'll be responsible for managing a set list of customer accounts and helping ensure their software and service contracts are renewed on time.

This is not a management role you won't be managing people, but you will be managing a book of business. That means you'll be working with our client's teammates, partners, and sometimes customers directly to keep things on track. If you're someone who likes problem-solving, organizing details, and being part of a fast-moving team, this role is a great way to grow your career in tech sales and customer success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Take ownership of the full contract renewal process for a specific set of accounts including managing your pipeline, preparing quotes, updating forecasts, and helping close renewal deals.
  • Maintain a 120-day rolling forecast, aiming for strong accuracy and keeping Salesforce records up to date and clean.
  • Work closely with our client's sales, operations, and partner teams to prioritize renewals, remove any blockers, and ensure everything moves forward smoothly.
  • Communicate directly with partners and customers as needed answering questions, resolving issues, and guiding them through the renewal process.
  • Watch for potential upsell or cross-sell opportunities and work with our client's sales to help grow the account where appropriate.
  • Keep your renewals pipeline organized and updated and contribute to regular team meetings and reporting that help leadership stay informed.
  • Monitor your accounts for any renewal risks and raise concerns early so the team can take action.
  • Use our client's internal tools (like Salesforce and CCWR) to track renewals and follow required sales and operations policies.
  • Help maintain clean and accurate data and be open to supporting improvements that make the process better for everyone.
Core Qualifications
  • At least 1 year of experience in renewals, customer support, inside sales, or a similar role ideally within a tech or SaaS company.
  • Familiarity with how B2B sales and renewals work, and a basic understanding of sales operations or customer engagement practices.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with lots of moving parts and transactions.
  • Strong communication skills you can build good relationships, explain things clearly, and have respectful conversations with customers and partners (including when negotiating).
  • Organized and dependable - you know how to juggle priorities and stay on top of tasks without losing focus.
  • Experience using CRM or quoting tools is a big plus.
  • Able to think analytically and work with forecasts, numbers, or data to help support decision-making.
  • Proactive when problems come up you don't wait to be told what to do, and you use good judgment to raise issues when needed.
  • Fluent in English (written and verbal); speaking other languages is a bonus.
Preferred Attributes
  • Experience working in or supporting partner ecosystems, especially with large tech companies.
  • Familiarity with renewal cycles for software or services, particularly within a subscription-based model.
  • Exposure to CRM reporting, pipeline tracking, or related metrics.
  • Interest in growing a career in tech sales, customer success, or sales operations – someone who sees this role as a launchpad, not just a job.
Work Environment
  • Remote position.
  • No relocation.
  • US or Canada based.
  • Must be authorized to work in the US or Canada without sponsorship.
  • $48,000 - $53,000 annual salary.
