Job summary

1898 & Co., part of Burns & McDonnell, seeks an Energy & Utilities Analyst in Atlanta to support power system studies, planning, and economic evaluations for critical infrastructure clients.

You will work with senior consultants to analyze transmission and distribution needs, develop financial models, prepare technical reports and client presentations, and assist with regulatory assessments and project planning in a fast-paced consulting environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in engineering or related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated leadership and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Analyze engineering, financial and economic conditions for client projects.
• Assist with power system studies and energy-delivery analysis.
• Support life-cycle cost analyses and capital/OM costs.
• Prepare technical reports and client presentations.
• Assist with regulatory rule assessments and risk analyses.
• Support power system planning, power flow, stability and dispatch.
• Collaborate with project teams and maintain compliance with policies.
