RWE Americas, LLC is seeking an Investment & Valuation Analyst to join the Investment & Valuation (I&V) team in the United States. The role supports evaluating solar, wind, and battery storage opportunities and prepares final investment decision proposals.

The analyst will learn valuation models, collaborate with development, commercial, and technical functions, and contribute to governance across a growing pipeline of renewables investments, including roughly $20 billion in planned US spend.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering or similar.
• Previous finance experience required.
• Proficient in Excel; able to run existing financial models with guidance.
• Foundational knowledge of valuation methodologies, especially DCF.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Interest in renewable energy or energy markets.
• Proficient in Excel and able to run scenarios within financial models with guidance.

Responsabilités

• Investment analysis, valuation & structuring for solar, wind, battery storage, and flexible generation opportunities.
• Prepare investment decision materials and presentations for senior management.
• Collaborate with development, commercial, and technical teams to gather inputs and communicate progress.
• Ensure model quality and governance; perform checks and flag inconsistencies.
• Suggest process and tool improvements based on project experience.
