Job summary

Panthera Grid Partners, LLC in Houston seeks a Business Development Analyst to support investment decisions across its renewable energy portfolio. You will develop and analyze financial models, assess project economics and risk, and help evaluate acquisitions, sell-downs and divestments in collaboration with senior management.

The role requires 1–3 years in solar/wind/energy storage finance, strong Excel/PowerPoint skills, and a willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics or quantitative field is required.
• 1 to 3 years of relevant work experience in solar, wind or energy storage development, M&A or finance.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to conduct analytical and financial modeling with high attention to detail.
• Capabilities in Excel and PowerPoint are essential.
• Knowledge of regulatory and compliance issues related to congestion trading.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain unlevered and levered financial models to support pricing, valuation, and investment decisions.
• Analyze project economics, key value drivers, and interpret data to inform pricing recommendations and strategic decisions.
• Support the evaluation, structuring, and execution of acquisitions, sell-downs, and divestments, including transaction documents.
• Coordinate and support due diligence processes, including data room management and review of legal, commercial, technical, and financial materials.
• Prepare investment approval materials and presentations that clearly communicate pricing recommendations, key findings, risks, and strategic implications to senior management.
• Maintain internal systems and processes for tracking project pricing, business development opportunities, transaction milestones, and key deliverables.
• Collaborate with teams across development, commercial, finance, legal, and construction, and coordinate with investors, external consultants and other stakeholders.
