Job summary

HF Sinclair, headquartered in Dallas, TX, seeks a Summer 2027 Renewables Intern to perform routine tasks supporting commercial operations for the renewables organization under close supervision.

You will assist in generating reports, reviewing contracts and pricing, and coordinating with multiple departments to ensure accuracy and timely delivery. This internship requires coursework in business, analytics, or supply chain management and strong Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with scheduling, billing, and accounting to ensure prompt, accurate invoices.

Job description

HF Sinclair in Dallas, TX is seeking a Summer 2027 Renewables Intern who will conduct routine assignments to support commercial operations initiatives for the renewables organization under close supervision.

Job Duties

• Assist in generating reports to monitor business performance and summarize key performance indicators (KPIs)
• Assist in review Renewables contracts and pricing for accuracy, complete and delivered in a timely manner
• Assists with feedstock and product distribution at Renewable facilities.
• Liaises with other departments such as Refinery Accounting, Credit, Marketing, Tax, and Data Integrity to ensure assigned customers receive excellent customer service
• Ensures contract and pricing documentation is compliant with Audit and SOX requirements
• Coordinates with scheduling, billing, and accounting groups to ensure invoices are prompt and accurate

Special assignments or tasks assigned to the employee by their supervisor, as determined from time to time in their sole and complete discretion.

Some completed courses needed for a Bachelors or Masters Degree in business, business analytics, supply chain management, or other relevant degree are required.

Required Skills

Strong skills in Microsoft Office Excel (e.g., V-Lookup, pivot tables); and strong analytical skills with solid attention to detail. Strong project management skills and ability to multi-task complex requirements. Intermediate reading, writing and mathematical skills. Needs to show initiative and strong problem solving skills. Must be results oriented with an ability to influence through good written and verbal communication.
