Job summary

TotalEnergies Renewables USA, LLC seeks a skilled Business Development Associate to join our team in the Houston area. You will support acquisition opportunities, evaluate project designs, and assist with negotiations and due diligence to optimize value and reduce risk.

Ideal candidates bring a related bachelor’s degree, 2+ years in energy or renewables, strong financial modelling skills, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, engineering, or related discipline required.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• Solid oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Experience in energy industry and renewable projects is desirable.
• Strong analytical and financial modelling ability.

Responsibilities

• Support acquisition opportunities, evaluate project design and operation.
• Update financial models with project finance inputs.
• Assist with negotiations and due diligence to de-risk opportunities.
• Develop pricing and competitive analysis for proposals.
• Coordinate materials for project finance and sell-down activities.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or engineering

Master’s degree preferred
