Job summary

KPMG LLP in McLean, VA is seeking a Tax Manager - Renewable Energy to join our Business Tax Services practice. The role focuses on delivering tax compliance and advisory services to a broad roster of corporate and partnership clients in the renewable energy sector.

You will prepare federal and state returns, advise on tax equity structures and credits, and work with multidisciplinary teams to translate complex tax concepts into actionable business insights.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of federal tax experience in a public accounting firm, corporation, or law firm.
• Bachelor’s degree, J.D., LL.M. in Taxation, and/or MST from an accredited college/university.
• Licensed CPA, JD/LLM or EA, with the company-approved credentialing within one year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide tax compliance and advisory services to corporations and partnerships across the renewable energy industry.
• Prepare and review federal and state income tax returns and related workpapers.
• Advise clients on tax equity structures, transferable tax credits, project acquisitions and dispositions, and other renewable energy transactions.
