Job summary

Pattern Energy is seeking an experienced QA/QC professional to support its EPC department in building and managing processes that ensure high standards of quality, performance, and compliance across wind and solar projects.

The role requires 5+ years in QA within construction, including 3+ years in renewable energy projects. Proficiency with QA systems and training are essential, with travel around project sites up to 40%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, quality management, construction management or related field highly desired.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality assurance within the construction industry, with at least 3 years in wind and solar construction or renewable energy projects.
• Certifications such as CQE or PMP are highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of QA principles, construction materials, and wind/solar tech or HV construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain SOPs and a Construction Quality Management Program (CQMP) for Owner’s Renewable Energy projects.
• Develop and maintain contractual QAQC requirement exhibits for external vendors and contractors.
• Ensure QAQC lessons learned are incorporated into contract exhibits and processes.
• Review/Approve contractor quality plans to meet Pattern QAQC requirements.
• Develop and maintain Inspection and Testing Compliance requirements.
• Oversee all inspection and testing processes to ensure materials and construction meet specs and standards.
• Develop and maintain detailed reporting and auditing of QAQC deliverables for stakeholders.
• Conduct training sessions for construction management on QAQC requirements and best practices.
