LaBella Associates is seeking a Civil Engineering Technician for our Latham, NY office to support site plan drawings and technical documents for land development projects. You will collaborate on research, planning, and design of conventional civil engineering tasks and assist with field investigations.

The role involves producing drawings using Auto CAD and Civil 3D, supporting technical studies for water, sewer, and stormwater systems, and mentoring others to build foundational skills.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in civil engineering technology or construction technology.
• General knowledge of building and site construction.
• Some experience in drafting and layout of engineering plans is preferred (internships included).

Responsibilities

• Produce drawings using Auto CAD and Civil 3D.
• Assist with research, planning, and design of civil engineering and land development projects.
• Assist with code studies, field investigations, and site inspections.
• Collaborate with other divisions and departments in a professional manner.
• Engage in training and mentoring activities to build technical foundation.
