Job summary

EDF Renewable Energy, Inc. is seeking an Associate Asset Manager to oversee financial and operational performance of renewable assets in the region.

You will manage, maintain, and optimize power plants, assess risks in PPA offtake and tax equity structures, and uphold HSES standards. The role involves office work most days with travel to project sites across the United States, and requires a four-year degree with 1–3 years' experience in finance or energy assets.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree and 1-3 years of applicable working experience.
• Understanding of sustainability and available renewable energy resources.
• Able to read and understand contracts and their impact on operations.
• Analytical skills and financial modeling experience are a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Financial Analysis & Support: GAAP/IFRS basics, support budgets, monitor cash flow and flag negative trends.
• Performance Monitoring Support: assess opportunities to improve operational/financial performance.
• Contract & Regulatory Support: track contracts/permits and ensure compliance tasks are completed.
• Operational Awareness: understand availability calculations and maintenance basics to keep sites running.
• Stakeholder Management Support: collaborate with internal teams to optimize project performance.
