Your Opportunity

General Plant Labor
Housekeeping, hosing down floors, moping, sweeping, emptying trash, picking up trash, etc.
Shovel and clean up spills in the plant
Keep barrels emptied of trash and product
Clean equipment from top to bottom
Help unstop screw conveyors
Cut plastic and product off of screw
Keep Floor drains cleaned out and covers on drains
Expected to perform other duties as assigned
Oversees rendering process from raw material bin to finished goods storage

Prior experience in a rendering facility or production environment preferred
Knowledge of mechanical rendering and or process equipment
Good mechanical aptitude and equipment troubleshooting; skilled in general mechanics and safe operation of equipment
Ability to deal with minor problems involving equipment or various situations
Ability to work nights and/or weekends as needed
Ability to read and write
Ability to climb stairs and silos
Ability to stand for entire shift
Ability to work well with others in fast paced, dynamic environment.
Ability to be respectful, approachable and team oriented while building strong working relationships and a positive work environment.
Frequently required to walk, stand, sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crawl, and crouch
Occasionally push, pull, move or lift up to 50 lbs.
Regularly required to reach with hands and arms
Job functions will be carried out in a rendering facility which requires tolerance for wet and/or slippery floors, and high heat and./or cold temperatures.
