Job summary

Caviness Beef Packers is hiring for a hands-on maintenance/processing role on site in Texas. You will support rendering and tissue processes, perform disassembly/reassembly of equipment, and ensure strict safety and cleanliness standards are met.

Required are the ability to lift 70+ lbs, stand for long periods, and adapt to B or C shifts. Prior experience is preferred but training is available for the right candidate with a solid work history.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 70+ lbs.
• Willing to train with a strong work history.
• Good standing in long shifts and physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Maintain processes such as rendering and tissue processes.
• Follow lockout tagout procedures for safety.
• Disassemble and re-assemble equipment as needed.
• Sample product for quality checks.
• Track/read or create reports manually or via computer.
• Ensure food safety and quality throughout operations.
• Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping in work areas.
• Maintain a safe work environment at all times.
• Ability to lift 70+ lbs as required.
• Stand for extended periods during shifts.
• Mechanical skills preferred for maintenance tasks.
• Able to work B Shift or C Shift.
• Show a stable work history.
