Job summary

Medical City Fort Worth is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Renal PCU on a full-time day shift (7am to 7pm) with rotating weekends. You will provide high-quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with the care team and physicians, following established nursing models and standards of practice.

This role emphasizes clinical excellence, timely documentation, patient and family education, and advocacy.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required.
• RN license for Texas or a compact license.
• Bachelor's or Associate degree required.
• 1 year experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition on admission and during shifts, reporting changes promptly.
• Administer medications, monitor therapeutic response, and document care in the chart.
• Respond to patient requests and proactively anticipate needs.
• Educate patients and families about condition, treatment, and follow-up.
