Job summary

Atrium Health's 3W Renal unit seeks a registered nurse to deliver patient-centered care on a 20-bed Med-Surg renal unit. The role emphasizes evidence-based practice, teamwork, and a commitment to safety. A sign-on bonus is available for applicants not having received one in the past 24 months.

Responsibilities include nursing assessment, care planning, and collaboration with the care team, with potential to float to other units as needed. Requires RN license and BLS; BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• BSN preferred for preferred role.
• Active RN license with privileges to practice in the state(s) of assignment.
• BLS certification required or as stated.

Responsibilities

• Engages in unit councils, governance, and quality initiatives to improve care and apply evidence-based practices.
• Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate care with patients and families.
• Monitors patient conditions, adjusts care plans, and collaborates with the care team.
• Upholds and promotes a culture of safety.
• May administer medications, treatments, and therapies per clinical protocols.
