Job summary

Atrium Health Navicent in Macon, GA is seeking a Registered Nurse for the 3W Renal Med-Surg unit (20 beds) to provide compassionate, evidence-based care on a 36-hour workweek.

You will apply the nursing process, monitor patient conditions, coordinate with the care team, and maintain accurate EHR documentation while upholding safety and quality initiatives.

A sign-on bonus is available; requires RN license in Georgia, BLS; BSN preferred; comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an RN education program.
• Active Georgia RN license with privileges to practice.
• BLS certification required.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Engages in unit councils, governance and quality initiatives to improve care.
• Uses nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement and evaluate care.
• Monitors patient conditions, adjusts care plans and collaborates with the team.
• Upholds a culture of safety.
• May administer medications and therapies per protocols.
• Maintains accurate, timely EHR documentation.
• May float to other units as needed.
• Provide age-appropriate care and adhere to department policies.
