Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care seeks a Registered Dietitian to support nutrition care for in-center and home dialysis patients. You will educate patients on diet, collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, and develop individualized care plans to improve nutritional status and clinical outcomes.

The role includes calculating diet prescriptions, monitoring labs, and documenting progress according to FMCNA policies, with travel between facilities as needed.

Qualifications

Minimum of 1-year professional work experience in clinical nutrition as a Registered Dietitian.
Renal experience preferred.
Demonstrated leadership competencies and skills for the position, including ability to teach, strong organizational skills, excellent communication, customer service, relationship development, results orientation, team building and decision making.
Able to perform responsibilities with minimum supervision.
Basic computer skills required.

Responsibilities

Assesses patient knowledge of diet and kidney disease and provides education appropriate to learning needs.
Provides patient-specific education on nutritional status, fluid status, and related lab results to patient/family/caregiver.
